4 EXAMPLES OF GOOD DESIGN
1. Examples of good design in school buildings can be found across Europe. Some of these are illustrated in this section. These examples show schools that work successfully because they meet the needs of their users and communities. They illustrate varying solutions that have been developed for specific schools. These are not off-the-shelf solutions, but offer an input to thinking about school design. Our challenge is to learn from what works, and to apply that in the local context. As the following examples show, this is already happening and the scope for learning will continue.
