Notes:
(1) The table counts the number of individuals into employment from New Deal. On this basis, a New Deal participant is only ever counted once as starting employment. If a participant has a sustained spell of unsubsidised employment after having had a sustained spell of subsidised employment, then the unsubsidised employment always takes priority.
(2) A job from whch the participant does not return to claim benefit, or transfer to another option, within 13 weeks. This includes those who have been in employment for less than 13 weeks, but who have not yet returned to JSA.
(3) Excluding those who have been, or are in, sustained unsubsidised employment.
(4) Excluding those who have been in sustained employment.
(5) Excluding those who have been in unsubsidised employment for less than 13 weeks.
