Local childcare partnership

Changing Children's Services Fund.

To deliver better outcomes for children who are vulnerable or deprived. CCSF is a catalyst for change. The emphasis is on improving the effectiveness of mainstream service delivery, rather than on setting up discrete projects. OSC could be eligible for support if it joins up with other services.

Family Fund

We champion an inclusive society where families with severely disabled or seriously ill children have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life.

The Family Fund helps families of disabled or seriously ill children under 16. We give grants and information related to the care of the child including holidays, leisure, laundry equipment, driving lessons and lots more. Range of information includes benefits, holidays, transport, Taking Care, After age 16 and more.

If your income is £23,000 (£21,500 in Scotland) or less we may be able to help.

Notes:

1. Funding from Social Inclusion Partnership (SIPs) has been made available for a range of children's services, including OSC. This funding is committed to 2004 when the management of SIPs moves over to community planning partnerships. As stated in section 13, resources should not be taken away from deprived areas after 2004.

2. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) has limited funding for infastructure, for example, the capital costs of childcare premises associated with training provision. Requests about the availability of funds should be made to:
