The members of the Review Group wish to acknowledge the support provided by a wide range of individuals and organisations in the collection of information and presentation of evidence.

We have been motivated by the high level of interest shown in our work by the business and education communities including large and small organisations, pupils, parents, teachers and local authorities.

We are grateful to those who hosted our Review Group meetings and the visits which took place in schools and businesses across Scotland. We also thank all those who took the time to submit their views to us during the consultation exercise. Without all this invaluable input, this Report would not have been possible.
