The consultation draft National Planning Policy Guideline 2: Economic Development was published in January 2002. The consultation period closed on 10 May 2002 with a total of 69 responses received. A list of respondents can be found in the Annex.
This digest gives a flavour of comments on the paper and groups the material with reference to comments on individual paragraphs. Comments of a general nature with regard to the draft NPPG, the change in name of the NPPG and financial implications are to be found at the end of the document. In drawing the material together, we have done our best to avoid errors of transcription, meaning, attribution, omission, or otherwise, and we apologise for any that have occurred.
