A REVIEW OF THE FIRST YEAR OF THE MANDATORY LICENSING OF HOUSES IN MULTIPLE OCCUPATION IN SCOTLAND

The Research Team

The HMO research was carried out by Hector Currie, formerly, lecturer at the School of Planning and Housing, Edinburgh College of Art/ Heriot Watt University. Dr. Donald Houston (team leader) with Jo Dean, both from the Department of Urban Studies, Glasgow University carried out the research for the wider study of the private rented sector.

Data from telephone and face-to-face interviews was recorded and reported as accurately as possible. The author accepts full responsibility if any accidental misquotation or misinterpretation of any contributor's comments has arisen.
