The species selection process

Selecting plants is an iterative part of the landscape design process. The choice should evolve progressively with each stage of the process and be influenced by consideration of the three interrelated central themes of CEL:LFN -

  • use natural characteristics
  • explore alternatives
  • make wise use of resources
