Notes on content:
1 This publication includes farms classified as both main and minor holdings.
2 To prevent disclosure of information about individual holdings, entries relating to less than five holdings, or those where two or less account for 85% or more of the information, have been replaced with an asterisk. Some of the data in the tables may not, by itself, be disclosive, but the information has been withheld to prevent disclosure by deduction.
3 The tables show the main items collected in the census, by groupings of local authority areas. (See map.)
4 Eileanan an Iar has been the official name for the Western Isles since 1998.
