Comparison of vacant and derelict land (hectares) between 1996 - 2001

2.9 Table 2 shows a comparison of the areas of vacant and derelict land recorded in the survey years 1996 - 2001. It should be noted that some councils did not participate in the 2001 and/or earlier surveys. In these cases the most recent available data have been used to provide an estimate for the appropriate year.
