3. The closing date for making objections or representations is given in the advertisement about submission of the plan to the Secretary of State. It is 6 weeks from the date of the advertisement first appearing.
4. Objections cannot be treated as confidential.
5. IF YOU ANSWER "YES" TO PART 4 OF THIS FORM YOUR OBJECTION WILL BE CONSIDERED BY A REPORTER AT A PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY. IF YOU ANSWER "NO" THE PLANNING AUTHORITY THEMSELVES WILL CONSIDER YOUR OBJECTION. In this event the planning authority may offer you an opportunity to expand your arguments. Having considered all objections the planning authority will make publicly available a statement of their decision on each objection and their reasons therefor. The availability of the statement for public inspection will be advertised in a local newspaper in due course.

IF YOUR OBJECTION RELATES TO A MATTER PREVIOUSLY CONSIDERED AT A PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY THE PLANNING AUTHORITY WILL DECIDE WHETHER TO OFFER YOU AN OPPORTUNITY OF HAVING YOUR OBJECTION HEARD AT A FURTHER INQUIRY.
