Sports Minister congratulates Andy Murray

Congratulating Scotland's Andy Murray on winning Olympic Gold and Silver medals today at Wimbledon, Sports Minister Shona Robison said:
"Andy’s performances were incredibly impressive. It was an honour to be here today to cheer him on in his first Olympic Final and I was absolutely thrilled when he took the Men’s Singles Gold for Team GB as well as the Silver in the Mixed Doubles with partner Laura Robson.
"Andy has again done us proud by adding yet more medals and equalling Scotland’s best ever showing at an Olympic Games. I’m now looking forward to celebrating further medal success in the days to come."
