Economic report on agriculture

Scotland's Chief Statistician today published the Annual Economic Report on Scottish Agriculture.
This compendium of Scottish agricultural information brings together data relating to 2008. Although the majority of statistics for Scottish agriculture in 2008 have already been released, the Economic Report on Scottish Agriculture provides additional detail on market prices, commodity yields, agricultural finances and industry structure.
It also contains analyses of farm incomes by farm type, tenure, farm size and farm performance, along with comparisons of farm structure and size. Analyses are also provided that present statistics across different countries in the UK and different regions in Scotland.
Previously published statistics relating to Scottish agriculture in 2008 are listed below:
