Menie estate golf resort

The Scottish Government has today issued outline planning permission to Trump International Golf Links Scotland to develop a golf resort on the Menie Estate at Balmedie in Aberdeenshire.
The Government had previously, on November 3, given notice of its intention to grant consent, subject to the satisfactory conclusion of a legal agreement between the applicant and Aberdeenshire Council.
The appropriate legal agreement has now been concluded. The Scottish Government has today written to the applicant's agent to formally grant outline planning permission for the development, subject to a range of conditions, bringing the Scottish Government's involvement in the application to an end.
