Homecoming Scottish Cup

The fourth round draw of the Homecoming Scottish Cup took place at Hampden Park in Glasgow today.

Deputy First Minister Nicola Strugeon performed the draw along with George Peat, President of the Scottish Football Association, and George Burley, the Scotland national coach.

The Scottish Government is sponsoring the Scottish Cup as part of the 2009 Year of Homecoming which marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns.

From Burns Night to St Andrew's Day 2009, a country wide programme of Homecoming events and activities will celebrate some of Scotland's great contributions to the world: Burns himself, Whisky, Golf, Great Scottish Minds and Innovations and our rich culture and heritage which lives on at home and through Scotland's global family.
