This is the eighth edition of the annual booklet that provides key data sets on the state of the environment in Scotland, with an emphasis on the trends over time.
The charts and data on public attitudes to the environment, global atmosphere, air quality, water, marine, radioactivity, waste, land and biodiversity are supplemented by text providing brief background information on environmental impacts and relevant legislation.
