Medal success in Beijing

Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has congratulated the first Scottish medal winner at the Beijing Olympics.
Ms Sturgeon said:
"Well done to David for securing Olympic silver in the men's canoe slalom finals. It's a fantastic achievement for him, and hopefully the first of many more medals for Scottish athletes competing in Beijing. The whole of Scotland is proud of him."
