The Scottish Government has won two awards, a gold and a silver, at the 2007 Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Effectiveness Awards for its campaigns on 'Life after Death' (organ donor recruitment) and reporting drug dealers (Drug Dealers Don't Care).
Eighteen campaigns out of a total of 42 entries submitted by the UK private, public and voluntary sectors were shortlisted by a panel of marketing industry judges.
There were four gold, six silver and and eight bronze awards at last night's ceremony held in Edinburgh's Dynamic Earth.
The Scottish Government's gold winning organ donor entry also won the Best Small Budget campaign in the special prize category.
Historic Scotland won a bronze for its 'Bringing history to life' campaign. The Scottish charity Erskine also won a bronze.
