Deputy Minister for Enterprise Allan Wilson said:

"All these organisations play an important role in taking adult learning into the community where so much progress is being made in improving numeracy and literacy rates.

"I am pleased, once again, to be able to fund so many organisations to help with the cost of running their headquarters and training their staff to ensure that more of our communities can benefit from this progress..

"Both are vital to help everyone fulfil their potential, overcome obstacles to employment and a return to learning, and make such a positive contribution to improving Scotland's economy, health and wellbeing."
