Forth Bridge tolls order

Following the completion of the Bridges Review, Scottish Ministers today made the order which will extend the tolls on the Forth Road Bridge until March 31, 2010.
The existing order was due to expire at the end of this month.
The extension will enable the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (FETA) to continue to finance the bridge's maintenance and operation and fund transport improvements aimed at addressing congestion.
A copy of the Order has been deposited at the offices of the Scottish Executive Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning Department, Victoria Quay, Leith Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ
And the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (FETA), Forth Road Bridge Admin. Offices, South Queensferry, West Lothian, EH30 9SF and may be inspected, free of charge, during business hours from March 15 to April 30.
