Social Worker Posts and Vacancies July 2005

The quarterly census of social workers in all Scottish
local authorities is published today as a statistical
bulletin.
It shows that the number of posts has increased by 175
overall, but that the number of vacancies has also risen by
3 per cent. The proportion of all vacant social worker
posts has remained roughly the same at 10 per cent.
