Breast Cancer Research (Scotland)

Following a hearing at the Court of Session, Edinburgh
today, final orders removing Anne McGill, Anthony Levinson
and commercial fundraiser, Tony Freeman, from the
management of Breast Cancer Research (Scotland) were
granted by Lord Drummond Young.
These people are now disqualified from involvement in
the management or control of any charity in the UK.
Solutions RMC are also disqualified.
The appointment of Mr Bill Cleghorn as judicial factor
was also confirmed by the court. He will continue his
examination of the business dealings of Breast Cancer
Research (Scotland).
The Scottish Charities Office took legal action against
Breast Cancer Research (Scotland) in May after an
investigation found evidence of misconduct and
mismanagement of the charity.
The judicial factor is appointed by the court to take
over the management and administration of the charity.
