Dunfermline High Court trial convictions

The partnership between the prosecution and the police
which resulted in the conviction of six men at Dunfermline
High Court today on serious drug, violence and firearms
charges was praised by the Lord Advocate, Colin Boyd
QC.
David Craig was convicted of drug dealing, torture,
assault and abduction; Barry Campbell was convicted of
abduction and firearms offences; Paul Campbell, Thomas
Irvine, Edward Lindsay and Lee Kinghan were convicted of
the supply of diamorphine, diazepam and cannabis.
Sentencing has been deferred until April 3 for
background reports.
Colin Boyd said:
"There has been close collaboration between the staff of
the Edinburgh Procurator Fiscal office and Lothian &
Borders police throughout this case.
"This is another good example of partnership working
between the prosecution service and the police making a
real difference to communities affected by crime".
