Mohammed Sarwar MP Indicted
Mohammed Sarwar, MP, and a co-accused Mumtaz Hussain, a Glasgow businessman, have today been indicted for trial in the High Court in Edinburgh on Monday, 2 November, 1998.
Mr Sarwar is charged with fraud, attempting to pervert the course of justice and contravention of section 82(6) of the Representation of the People Act 1983. Mr Hussain is charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
