Fire Service Industrial Action
The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) Executive Council has
stated that, following a ballot of members, professional
firefighters and Emergency Control staff from all over the
United Kingdom have returned an 87.6% vote in favour of
taking national strike action.

The FBU has given notice that the next strike will take
place from 9am on Saturday, February 1, to 9am on Monday,
February 3.
