The Review is now complete. The Scottish Government ran a public consultation on Lord Carloway's proposals between 3 July - 5 October 2012. Following consideration and analysis of the responses received to this consultation the Scottish Government is now seeking views, in a second public consultation, on additional safeguards required following the removal of the requirement for corroboration. The consultation will run between 19 December 2012 - 15 March 2013.
