
Events hosted by Ministers include lunches, dinners and receptions. They can range from official government hospitality afforded to visiting international dignitaries to events held in recognition of the contribution individuals or organisations have made to the wellbeing or development of Scotland or to ensuring that Ministerial and Scottish Government priorities are delivered.
The government has adopted the practice of publishing on a quarterly basis the names of guests who have accepted an invitation for events hosted by Scottish Ministers where official government hospitality is offered.
