Next Meeting of SPIF

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act (FOISA) and the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations (EISRs) entitle the public with a legal right to request information from Scottish public authorities. The Scottish Public Information Forum (SPIF) consists of representatives of users of the Act and public authorities, who meet to discuss issues and share experience and good practice. The next meeting will be held in Edinburgh on 11 November 2009. These meetings are open to the public to observe, so if you are interested in coming along to hear about the work of the group or about how FOISA and EISRs are working in Scotland please email foi@scotland.gsi.gov.uk or telephone 0131 244 5148.
