Marine and freshwater science

In 2008 the Marine Science Co-ordination Committee (MSCC) was established. It is a cross-UK governmental committee addressing marine science. Its first task is to develop a UK marine science strategy for publication by the end of 2009. Marine Scotland is fully involved in this process.
